Sennheiser PXC 550 wireless travel headphone kiosk

THE SITUATION

With the launch of the PXC 550, Sennheiser were looking to increase market share in the premium travel headphone market. Other kiosks had proven unreliable and ineffective.

WHAT WE DID

Habitat Digital were commissioned to produce an eye catching and engaging interactive experience that drove product purchase as well as achieve key brand communication objectives. Habitat also specified and commissioned the hardware so that up-time was optmimised and remote monitoring and management possible. The kiosk also captures key data about users and their interaction with the product, filling knowledge gaps within the Sennehiser business. The engaging, interactive experience included eye-catching animations and graphics, voice over and effects plus built in media player. All kiosks are monitored remotely, ensuring up-time and ease of updates.

THE OUTCOME

Nine kiosks are situated at major Australian airports and a flagship Harvey Norman retail outlet. They have around 30 users a day who use the kiosk for 4mins 21secs on average. That’s engagement!
